In the teaching Profession, I'd already read that the best teachers are letting his or her students freely makes noise for some hours, and it has a correlation with the sayings of Dr. Harry Wong into his seminar which is the discipline and procedure. He said that an effective teacher manages a classroom while an ineffective teacher disciplines classroom, therefore base on what he have said into his seminar that we teachers should know on how we discipline our respective classes by managing a classroom, however before we prove to ourselves of being effective teacher, we teachers must show professionally to the students and I believe that is the number one key point for us teachers to become effective to the students, second show confidence on what you are teaching in the class so that students may feel aura of the teachings of a teacher, and lastly teachers must show his appropriate values so that students may adapt it and they will respect the class of the teacher.

Dr. Harry Wong presents the routines and procedures that could be utilize by the teacher during the session of classes, therefore teachers were oblige to discipline students to be attentively listen to the entire discussions or any task that could be given by the teacher. Dr. Harry Wong represents the appropriate disciplining students by the step of being silent in class, by making yourself as a respectful teacher that students may able to listen and respect the teacher in class, and be smart on what you are saying inside the class. Each step base on my understanding on what Harry Wong said in the video was, being a teacher it is our fault as a teacher sometimes if the students were not growing because on what we have shown inside the classroom. I conclude that these steps given by Harry Wong in the video must be useful for us as a educators, although I've already observe these procedural aspects, but we need to maintain this type of procedure and routines of a classroom manager or a teacher inside the classrooms so that students may learn and have an attentive focus to the teacher.

Section: 9-Colossians
Room/Date/Time: APS 202/ September 04,2018/ 10:00-12:00pm


All of the classes under CLE Subject were obliged to attend the seminar which is all about the spirituality and the life of the saints. The symposium were very nice because it gives a deeper understanding on how we deepen our faith in God and on how we Trust in him. Not only centered to God but also it integrates also the life of the saints that students were really more attentively listening to the speaker. The speaker of the symposium has a sense of humor she was so confident on what she have said in front of the whole CLE students at the Theater. The symposium also makes me cry a little bit because there's a 30 minute silent prayer that we are able to speak to God during the symposium. The entire symposium was good and I have no negative feedback from this session.

Before the quiz, Mrs. De Leon discusses first the Holy Trinity, during her discussion Mrs. De Leon has a innovative skills in teaching and has a well voice while teaching the topic of the subject area, while observing my resource teacher, I've also feel that I am a high school student, because even though I am a religious educator student, there's a lot of topics that I didn't know and I've realize that every teachers must be a wide reader and need to study more and more before teaching the subject area. The quiz that they have taken was all about the discussion of Mrs. De Leon the Holy Trinity that there are 3 persons in one God which is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit into one God. Religious educators must be clearly good in teaching the truth, because it is a sacred teachings especially the teachings of the Prophets in the Old Testament, teachings of Jesus and his disciples. The class was good during their exam because they are quiet and really concentrate to the exam.

Section: 09-Colossians


During my observation, the teacher gave them a quiz all about the Holy Spirit and while observing some students in the classroom they are quiet and concentrating to their exam. Honestly speaking during quiz I was so sleepy because I am only at the back of the class for two hours to observe them, the reason why I was sleepy because of the many requirements of the other subjects that I may able to pass on time. Mrs. De Leon is a good observer to her students during their exams, because literally that her eyes were focus to them, but before their quiz the teacher teach her students with the integration of Values Clarification, so that before their exam they may have a back up of understanding to their quiz. I've realize that when I become a teacher someday, I hope that I could integrate also the values clarification part to have a better understanding for them on what I would discuss someday, not only as a religious and values educator that may able to use the values clarification, but in all specializations.

The appropriate date of my observation was August 14  but the class was postponed due to typhoon, anyways the activity last August 16 was all about the Consecrated persons who called by Christ to follow his footsteps. Mrs. Tess De Leon discusses all of the saints and other persons who followed Jesus until the end of their lives, example of this are the saints. The discussion was good because teacher Tess discusses clearly the discussion, she also included Mary the Mother of God as the Mother of Christ and as the Consecrated Mother of Our Lord, she added also the discussion all about the life of the priests and nuns and also she really well explained to the students that we catholic's do not worship Mary and other saints hut we give honor, respect and make them as a inspiration to follow more Jesus according to his teachings, because in Catholic Doctrine we believe that Saints and Mary are our helpers while we pray for our intentions to God or what we called the Communion of Saints. I conclude to her discussion that every persons are called to become consecrated, but before we called by Jesus to become one of his Consecrated Men and Women we must do first the will of God.
